His name is a mantra I find myself repeating. Everything he says, every word and praise, is my treasure.

Soft red eyes
Its because of him, because he needed me, that I was able to feel so alive again. After she had gone I felt void of hope but he

Are you Really Awake?
Are you really awake right now?
No need to pinch yourself,
Our dreams are like reality.
You, Me,
You look at us
and realize you are you.
You exist.
Yes, this is like a dream.
Can you prove otherwise?
A reality just like reality -
This doesn't prove you're awake.
Reality is mearly waves of thought
running through your mind.
We're just asserting this is reality
after gathering scrap together.
Regardless of how cheap it is,
or how real it is,
if you think it's real than it is.
If you decide on where to set your feet,
there's no means to prove what is real.

He'd known who
"The person whose name is written in this note... shall die."
Rorschach closes the morbid black notebook and looks it over once before settling his eyes on it's cover. The whole book is bound in some sort of odd black leather and is perfectly black save for the white letters scrawled sketchily on the cover.
"Death Note." The vigilante reads. A notebook of death. A killing tool. A weapon.
'A child's prank.'
Rorschach returns the book to the floor of the alley he was passing through and grunts. Obviously the notebook was a joke, so sort of scam perhaps, sold to some desperate criminal at some gypsy novelty shop. It would be better to leave
